We know that the aviation industry of tomorrow requires innovative thinking from diverse perspectives on challenges that will effect all people. It is meant for leaders in Aviation and Aerospace to help explore the benefits and action steps needed to create further opportunities across gender, sexuality and indigenous ways of being for aviation.
Women in AAM
Everyone’s birth gender is different. Some people identify as the gender assigned to them at birth, a gender not assigned to them at birth, or neither gender. Most decision-makers in aviation and aerospace currently identify as men, and there hasn't been many safe spaces for male leaders to engage in a conversation about how to build a more inclusive and diverse industry.
Join us at this annual event for an open discussion about how we all might move towards a better industry together with all gender identities.

LGBTQ2+ in AAM
Inclusivity is something most of us can get behind in principle. When we have a feeling of inclusivity, we do better work. Not everyone does feel included though, and this is especially true for those who identify as part of the LGBTQ2+ community, with only a minority being out at work. We created this event as a space for leaders to be brave in not knowing the right answer to the challenges faced by people of varied sexual identities. Join us at this event and learn what best practices do exist, and where we all need to brave together to create a better industry for everyone together.

Indigenous in AAM
The aviation industry was born during a time when indigenous voices were not being heard, and the wisdom of their ways not understood. Today, we’re still not far enough along the path to reconciliation that we as a country have committed to. We know this industry can be better by creating a space to listen to the wisdom and worldview of indigenous people as we sit on the edge of further use of our environment. Join us and invite yourself to be moved into new ways of thinking about our air resources and the ways we might shift development of this new industry to respect all world views.
