What We Do
Canadian Advanced Air Mobility (CAAM) accelerates the safe, sustainable, and integrated operations of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) across Canada.
Our work is guided by a flywheel approach that builds momentum across four key actions:

Deepen Member Engagement
We build strong relationships with our members to understand their needs, challenges, and priorities—ensuring that our efforts are grounded in real-world experience and insight.
Advance Government and Industry Collaboration
We work closely with Transport Canada, NAV CANADA, and other regulatory bodies to provide clear, actionable insights into AAM operations—bridging gaps between innovation and regulation.
Drive Policy and Regulatory Progress
By channeling insights from our members and partners, we identify critical regulatory and policy barriers and support progress that unlocks safe, scalable AAM solutions.
Expand Ecosystem Awareness and Engagement
We use events, storytelling, and digital outreach to grow public understanding, industry participation, and cross-sector collaboration across the AAM ecosystem.
We operate through four strategic pillars that turn ideas into coordinated action:
Ecosystem Builder
Canada's AAM sector lacks a unified ecosystem—limiting collaboration, access to resources, and talent development. CAAM's Ecosystem Builder addresses this by creating spaces and connections for stakeholders to align, share knowledge, and collectively accelerate innovation.
Project Catalyzer
We support organizations through collaboration, technical advising, and project bundling. CAAM connects industry with investors, helps agencies evaluate opportunities, and strengthens the overall investment landscape through targeted support and coordination.
National Strategy
CAAM leads the coordination behind Canada's National AAM Master Plan. We support dialogue and alignment between the Federal AAM Integration Team, Transport Canada, NAV CANADA, our National Board, Advisory Committee, and the wider CAAM ecosystem to ensure a unified path forward.
Annual Event
Our annual event brings together leaders from across Canada and around the world to exchange ideas, share insights, and build partnerships. It's a platform for visibility, knowledge sharing, and international collaboration that reinforces Canada's role in shaping the future of air mobility.
