ICAO AAM 2026 will focus on what comes next: safe integration, scalable operations, infrastructure readiness, regulatory alignment, and global interoperability—building on the inaugural AAM Symposium 2024 in Montréal and bringing together the people shaping how advanced air mobility moves into real-world operations.
From certification and airspace integration to infrastructure, automation and international regulatory alignment, the symposium is focused on the practical work required to move AAM from vision to implementation.
The symposium runs December 1–3 in Bangkok, Thailand.
- Day 1 opens with a high-level panel on the current global state of AAM deployment — progress since the 2024 Call to Action, advances in certification, vertiport planning, and early commercial operations. The day closes with the formal presentation of the Bangkok AAM Statement, a global declaration on the future direction of advanced air mobility. Then a welcome reception.
- Day 2 goes deep on governance and regulation: supporting and regulating AAM, new approaches to airspace management including dynamic allocation and UTM-ATM interoperability, the evolution of the human role as automation increases, and a dedicated panel on certification pathways for AAM — why certification exists, how it enables innovation, and what global harmonization requires. The evening is a Gala Dinner and Networking Reception.
- Day 3 tackles automation and autonomy, the legal landscape around AAM — liability, insurance, cross-border operations, data protection — and closes with a “Turning Vision into Action” panel focused on translating ambitious concepts into actionable roadmaps. Then the entire group travels to watch a live AAM in-flight demonstration organized by the Host State of Thailand. There is also a dedicated session drawing on UN peacekeeping and humanitarian operations, where eVTOL and UAS technology is already flying in the world’s most challenging environments. It’s one of the most compelling sessions on the programme.
Booking through CAAM gives you access to additional benefits:
Standard industry ticket: $2,450 USD, and includes an invitation to an exclusive networking event with the Embassy of Canada in Bangkok.
