Founded in 2007 by the CAFE Foundation in California, the Electric Aircraft Symposium (EAS) was the world’s first technical conference devoted to the future of electric aviation and teamed with the Vertical Flight Society beginning in 2018 to host the annual event.
Over the past two decades, more than 500 visionaries and pioneers of electric aviation and Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) have spoken at the conference held since 2017 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, on the weekend before EAA AirVenture — the world’s largest aviation event — which attracts more than 700,000 visitors and 10,000 aircraft!
EAS has brought together thousands of aviation innovators to share their insights, make meaningful connections, and drive aviation innovation.
EAS 2026 at Oshkosh is organized in partnership with the annual e-flight Expo at AERO Friedrichshafen in Germany which is Europe’s largest General and Business Aviation exhibition.
