So, we’re building this new AAM industry, we want it to be better than previous industries by ensuring equal opportunities for all.
What does the first conversation about creating an inclusive industry need to be in order to bring us closer to an inclusive and diverse Advanced Air Mobility reality?
About This Event
With so much demand for new jobs and new hires in the coming years – building this industry with diversity and inclusion in mind is not only where we need to get to as a society, but pragmatically it gives us the best chance of effectively staffing this industry to allow it to thrive. Women and Drones, Canadian Advanced Air Mobility Consortium (CAAM), and Pride at Work Canada warmly invites you to join us for a moderated dialogue about how to set up this new industry with inclusivity and equity in mind.
How can companies create and educate allies in the workspace? What can we learn from traditional aerospace and apply to AAM? What can new graduates expect from upper management and a new work environment?
This event, as one part of an annual three-part series including women in AAM and Indigenous peoples, strives to move this conversation forward as we build this new industry together. This is an online event featuring a keynote fireside chat followed by three discussion topics: Inclusion in Aviation Today, Leading with Language, and Small Steps Towards Brave Leadership.
Registrants will have the opportunity to submit their questions ahead of time when registering for the event as well as during the event Q&A.
Themes of this event:
→ What brave leadership is and why it’s needed in today’s industries
→ What lessons might be learned from conventional aviation for this new sector
